JVC - Dad
Agency: Demond Advertising – Client: JVC. == A conventional photo composite of 4 images. The adult dog, the pups 2 + 1 and the room with tv and video recorder. Obscura combined these elements in the dark room, onto a single sheet of duplicating film using registered masks. – 1984
Four by Four by Four
Agency: CPS – AD: Berry Bendel – Client: Honda == To safely create this photograph it was necessary to build scaffolding to support the 4x4s which were then lifted into position using a crane. The scaffold was largely covered by the vehicles but where it showed through, the sky was photo composited into the space between the bikes. It’s the same idea as cloning the sky in using Photoshop but this was all done the hard way in the dark room on film by Obscura. – 1989
